About – Sentient Beings Art

Each illustration begins as a spontaneous scribble and is brought to life in the same way as one finds shapes in a cloud. Guided by play and spontaneity, the linework unfolds intuitively, rooted in a deep reverence for nature.

I love drawing and seeing how each illustration develops, often in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Many times I’ll find myself amused by what’s emerging on the page, or come out of the zone and be pleasantly surprised by what has taken shape. My preferred medium is digital, which allows me to draw at the pace of my imagination and experiment along the way.

One of the special parts of illustrating coloring pages is seeing how people choose to color them. I’m fascinated by how the same piece of art can be experienced and interpreted in so many different ways, shaped by each of our unique perspectives. And I love seeing the different colors and techniques that are brought to each page. Art is incredible in how it allows us to connect with one another in ways that go beyond words.

Designed to invite imagination, kindness, and connection with the natural world, this artwork supports creativity and well-being in a range of settings – including schools, retirement communities, public libraries, offices, health and wellness spaces, and animal sanctuaries.
